Katherine Schilke
is a self taught artist whose creative means of expression follows no rules. She jokingly describes herself as having a "artistic craft ADD" –always jumping from one medium to another. Some of her past works have cleverly utilized recycled materials in three dimensional projects. She has also created extraordinary decorative and functional pieces in beading and jewelry. As a painter her paintings and sculptural objects have cultivated a passionate and devoted family of collectors. Her talent as a costume designer spans several decades and she is much sought after to create for theater companies.
