Anne Ford

attended Christ Church University College at Canterbury in Kent and was awarded a BA with Honors in Art and Education in 1988.  She then began teaching in primary education with the added responsibility of special needs children.  She found her skills in drawing and painting especially useful in encouraging under achievers to excel in art and craft.  Returning to Christ Church University College she received an MA in Fine Art in 1998.  She then exhibited more widely and her paintings are now in collections in Australia, England, Switzerland, France, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the US

Anne has travelled to many countries in Europe and the western states of America to draw and to paint.  She is now retired from teaching and divides her time between her homes in Baja California, Mexico and Las Cruces, New Mexico where she delights in landscape, native plants and the birds that visit desert gardens.

She hopes to be able to continue painting for many more years to come.
